Big Dick, Bitch, and Fire: TBT PFC Moses Cardenes | It was summer in Rawah Iraq, 2007 NSW and The Highlanders had teamed up to lay hate and discontent through their battle-space w- a small Marine DET next door who stayed getting fucked up at Blue Hackle compound on Camp Kassem. CallsignFatal Highlanders TrojanHorse HunterKiller TFHighlander A young, skinny PFC with BCGs on his face and fire in his heart named Moses Cardenas was a Scout on his first combat deployment. On Aug 2, 07, his platoon set up a snap VCP. (2) bongos eerily halted in the distance refusing to advance. Suddenly(5) muj fucks started laying HEAVY hate on the plt w- PKMs and RPGs immediately wounding Rodie trying to bound for cover. Unable to engage from his position, Cardenas slung his dick over his shoulder, clutched his SAW for dear-fucking-life, and sprinted into the danger zone. While pulling a marine that was easily TWICE his fucking bodyweight w-o gear and ammo, he took a round to the neck that instantly dropped him. Having not one bitchmade bone in his body, he got back up, chicken winged his SAW and laid hate on the trucks while simultaneously walking backwards and buddy dragging Rodie. He then got shot AGAIN and dropped to the ground. But Cardenas having no quit in his heart got back up and dragged Rodie to safety. As soon as he was clear of the LAVs line of fire, big dick Texan Drew Perry opened up on bongo trucks w- 25mm and turned those motherfuckers into scrambled eggs. Unfortunately the platoon lost Lcpl Christian Vasquez but be damned if he didn’t fight bravely that day. Moses Cardenas was given the Silver Star for his actions MOSES CARDENAS SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED A MEDAL OF HONOR FOR WHAT HE DID ON THIS DAY. But due to the officer elitist nature of the United States Marine Corps, Cardenas received no such recognition and had he been you can be sure some coffee-sipping, clean-cammie-having, paper-bitch of an officer would have done their best to hinder the process. Fortunately for the Marine Corps, he’s still leading Marines to this day and has somehow found sets of trousers that fit his massive fucking balls. The plan she’s proposing would have a better chance of being passed, is more cost-effective, and still opens up higher education to low-income individuals who previously couldn’t afford it.  I teach at a community college so I’ve been following her plan, and she’s recently actually posted a bit about where she expects the money for free community college to come from. I mean, my salary’s gotta come from somewhere, right? You can’t expect schools to lose millions of tuition dollars for nothing. The concept of Clinton’s plan is that the burden is on the states to figure out how to make public higher ed debt free for the students, and those states which do so successfully will then receive federal grants. This incentivizes states to figure out a solution that works for each separate state (rather than a federally imposed plan that might not work for all states); states will only do it if the rewards (grants) are enough to make up the loss in tuition, so I’m not worried about my state coming up short on my salary; and it’s even possible that the grants could end up being more than the tuition losses which would mean that the state budget (or the PHE institutes’ budgets) will also benefit and not only the students in question. The details of this plan do not yet exist (e.g., defining “debt-free”, amounts of grants, where that money will come from in the federal budget), but at the current stage I don’t expect that level of detail. So in short, it’s a good idea. Okay, so here’s why this is bullshit. 1. “Universal” means anybody “means testing” ≠ “universal” We don’t “means test” free, public roads and highways. Everyone who wants to use them can use them. We don’t “means test” who has access to public transportation like buses and subways. Because as expensive and under-invested as they are, they’re still a (virtually free) public common. Public education is universal right. Including college. That’s why we consider education a part of the public commons. We don’t means test people for high school or middle school to “weed out the people who can afford better”……do you know why that’s an unnecessary test? Because the people who can afford better WILL send their children to more expensive pRiVaTe schools. To buy OP’s argument, you’d have to be foolish enough to believe that a billionaire is going to somehow “get over” on us by sending their children to a free public college, when they can afford to send them to a prestigious, private, Ivy League college. Does that make sense to anyone??? 2. Okay, just for argument’s sake, let’s say I’m completely off base with my line of reasoning on point #1 above….even IF the 400 wealthiest families in America sent their kids to free, public universities to “get over” on the rest of us, DO YOU REALLY EVEN CARE, IF THAT MEANS THAT LITERALLY EVERYONE ELSE GETS A SHOT AT FREE COLLEGE? “Welp, 99 poor kids might not go to college, but at least we stopped that one rich kid from going to a public university for free” (now please google “Pyrrhic victory”)    Are you sO married to the Republican concept of “means testing” social programs that you would deny free education to 99 percent of the people who need it? Really?? No, REALLY??? Here’s the thing: basic human rights, and access to things that fall under the public commons (like education and healthcare) should never be “means tested”….that’s an argument that has been used by both conservatives and neoliberals to cut social programs. In short, “means testing” social programs is a decidedly conservative concept. It’s a diversionary tactic that has been reliably used as a preface to “austerity” and to cut safety net programs, like TANF in the 90s 3. And finally, bringing up “state’s rights” is just another conservative (neoliberal) way to frame the argument. I’m not an educator, but I am the son of a lifelong teacher and social activist, and I’ve spent way too many afternoons helping my mom out in countless classrooms to buy OP’s framing - let me say this as plainly as possible: If we can find ways to pay for wars and increase our military budget decade after decade, then there’s no legitimate reason we cannot do the same with education. No reason at all. None. So I completely reject the premise that universal education is somehow uniquely expensive or unattainable. It isn’t. Other countries have figured this out without regressing to conservative notions like block grants or “state’s rights”…free college needs to be done on a federal or constitutional level. Period Oppps and that’s tea!

While some individuals are truly disadvantaged and in need of help, automatically labeling the poor as "in need" is a sure way to keep them so. Not only is the welfare system flawed in acting as a "free lunch" to the unwilling, but also a trap, waiting to backfire as soon as individuals standard of living raises to a point where they no longer qualify for aid, but will not maintain a good standard of living for some time until they are independant RichLabor Taxes 4 . The services provided by bureaucracy are poor and make for a tax more expensive than any bill or pricetag on the narket; they are poor for the same reason a diabetic has more incentive to excercise than a perfectly fit individual here's always the threat of health, metaphorically job security. Usually no, but maybe sometimes yes. @strengthcoachtherapy explains below, and I agree with every word. . 🤔 Lifting to failure is 100% not necessary for gainz and progress. If done too much, it can even hinder progress. For many novice lifters, going to failure is overused and overrated. Sorry bro, but you don't need to scour the gym looking for a spot for every bench press set. Just lift. . ❌ For compound lifts, missing reps can be downright dangerous (squat, bench, deadlift). This is when training injuries happen. Going to failure is much safer when you are performing single joint exercises. Examples include hamstring curls, machine work, lateral raises, arms, etc. These are low risk movements and failing can be helpful to tax smaller muscle groups. . ✅ Failing reps and pushing it to the limit can be be helpful for hypertrophy work and creating maximal oxidative stress. It's also sometimes necessary for power and oly lifters to truly find and push their max. Overall, it is still more advised for bodybuilding techniques. Failing should also be used less frequently as you get stronger and closer to your genetic potential. . 🤓 Smart training is all about weighing cost versus benefit. Even if you can get away with failing now, it has the potential to cause problems down the road. (Looking at you, young lifters). Furthermore, lifting to your 1 rep maximum on a weekly basis is not a wise way to structure your training. Try a reps day, a light day, and a heavy day, instead of putting all 3 into everyday. . 🙅🏽‍♂️ Lifelong gains are made by maximizing reward and minimizing risk. It's a marathon, not a sprint. Don't make missing reps a habit, the benefit is minimal if any at all. Trust me my friends, you can still train hard and reach your goals by finishing your lifts. . Ali, Being Alone, and Bad: Man Sentenced After Throwing Bacon on Muslim Student @balleralert Man Sentenced After Throwing Bacon on Muslim Student-blogged by @thereal__bee ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 17-year-old Muslim student Ikram Ali from Enfield, England, was attacked in early June by a white man who threw raw bacon on her face in an Islamophobic attack. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 36-year old Alex Chivers was responsible for the assault and was sentenced to serve 26 weeks in jail. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When speaking on the incident, Ali explained that she was on her way to a polling station with her mother and sister when Chivers attacked them with raw bacon. She also says that he called her "scum" and said that she "deserved it." ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "I was unable to see and breathe for a while and at this point I couldn’t understand why. I was being suffocated. I thought I was dead," Ali told BuzzFeedNews. "I didn’t know what hit me. It was only when the bacon peeled off my face and it fell to the ground, and the male behind me started shouting, 'Bacon, bacon, it’s bacon,' that I started to grasp what was happening to me." ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ali says Chivers did not do the attack alone. He escaped on a motorcycle with another male. James Payne, a police officer from Enfield Community Safety Unit, said in a statement that the second man, who has not been identified, recorded the attack. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For Ali this is another example of the struggles Muslim people face in the United States. Ali said, "Islamophobia is real, and it is out there and because of the way Muslim women choose to dress, we’re unfortunately a target." ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Though this experience was traumatic Ali is still optimistic. "I still choose to believe there’s more good out there than bad, and that my hijab will not hinder me in my life," she said.

For best force transfer, you want that drive going from the forearm and directly into the bar. But subpar wrist positioning can throw off this line and hinder your progression. And let's be honest, bringing up our poverty bench is hard enough already.🙁😢😭 . There are 3 common positions we see: . ❌Overextended: This is the common culprit in causing wrist pain when benching. You have 8 carpal bones as a part of the wrist joint. And the compression of the weight coupled with overextension can quickly lead to pinching irritation.😣💥 . ❌Too Straight: This position is less common to see and often happens when people try to overcorrect their wrists. Here, the line of drive is behind the bar and you have an increased chance of losing control and dropping it on your chest.😲 . ✅Slightly Extended: Here you see the bar and forearm line up beautifully.
