NFL draft: Women have always been strong no matter what patriarchy says @chakabars The African man can only rise as high as the African woman... Just because you can see skin doesn't mean you are in any position to judge. Women aren't yours to judge. Many of the "conscious" community are intrinsically patriarchal & sexist. Even though they are preaching equality & fairness, they still harshly judge African women, unnecessarily. Fellas I know where your head is at, as we are born into a sexist society. It's been made so easy to target & pull down the African woman, for approval & to seem relevant. I used to do it too. It's easier to body shame women, because you're uncomfortable that you can't own them, & that their physical appearance makes you feel weak, than it is to attack a system owned by rich middle aged men, built on the objectification of the black physique. Yet African women own the end result of none of this media. They aren't to blame, neither are the brothers being auctioned the NFL draft camps or the brothers playing for the NBA. Neither are the brothers running up & down the soccer pitches in Europe, while they get Bananas thrown at them. They just want to have a slice of the pie cooked from their ingredients. Remember who owns the capital from all of this entertainment. Not African people. Many of the brothers leading the African empowerment movements, don't want to share power with the sisters. Thus leading an almost pseudo empowerment movement. As without the empowerment of the African women, there is no empowerment. It's not right that any African woman who is showing her figure out of the "naturalist" setting, gets all of the derogatory slurs of sexism thrown at her. Where as the men doing the same things in different settings, get a pass because they are men. Strong men empower the sisters, uplift don't downpress. It's easier to fight amongst each other, than it is to fight the system that put us there. chakabars
