Amber Rose, Best Friend, and Bones: tumblr nly-johnny-dep # Believe!im 3. The op-ed's clear implication that Mr. Depp is a domestic abuser is categorically and demonstrably false. Mr. Depp never abused Ms. Heard. Her allegations against him were false when they were made in 2016. They were part of an elaborate hoax to generate positive publicity for Ms. Heard and advance her career. Ms. Heard's false allegations against Mr. Depp have benconclusivlrfed by two pndng polie offices, a litany of neutral third-party witnesses, and 87 newly obtained surveillance camera videos. With a prior arrest for violent domestic abuse and having confessed under oath to a series of violent attacks on Mr. Depp, Ms. Heard is not a victim of domestic abuse; she is a perpetrator. Ms. Heard violently abused Mr. Depp, just as she was caught and arrested for violently abusing her former domestic artner. In one particularly gruesome episode that occurred only one month into their marriage, Ms. Heard shattered the bones in the tip of Mr. Depp's right middle finger, almost completely cutting it off. Ms. Heard threw a glass vodka bottle at Mr. Depp-one of many projectiles that she launched at him in this and other instances. 3. The op-ed's clear implication that Mr. Depp is a domestic abuser is categorically
and demonstrably false. Mr. Depp never abused Ms. Heard. Her allegations against him were
false when they were made in 2016. They were part of an elaborate hoax to generate positive
publicity for Ms. Heard and advance her career. Ms. Heard's false allegations against Mr. Depp
have benconclusivlrfed by two pndng polie offices, a litany of neutral
third-party witnesses, and 87 newly obtained surveillance camera videos. With a prior arrest for
violent domestic abuse and having confessed under oath to a series of violent attacks on Mr.
Depp, Ms. Heard is not a victim of domestic abuse; she is a perpetrator. Ms. Heard violently
abused Mr. Depp, just as she was caught and arrested for violently abusing her former domestic
 artner.

In one particularly gruesome episode that occurred only one month into their
marriage, Ms. Heard shattered the bones in the tip of Mr. Depp's right middle finger, almost
completely cutting it off. Ms. Heard threw a glass vodka bottle at Mr. Depp-one of many
projectiles that she launched at him in this and other instances. The bottle shattered as it came
into contact with Mr. Depp's hand, and the broken glass and impact severed and shattered Mr.
Depp's finger. Mr. Depp's finger had to be surgically reattached. Ms. Heard then disseminated
false accounts of this incident, casting Mr. Depp as the perpetrator of his own injury

 Amber keep
giving the excuse of “confidentiality restrictions”, due to a divorce agreement

“I am not satisfied on the current evidence that Ms. Heard’s concerns about the

Even with 80% of his brain growing surely he had all kinds of severe issues, right? And even if his brain did grow back he might not have lived very long. So I did a little research on him. Doctors said he would be SEVERELY mentally disabled, unable to see, hear, talk, or even eat. The doctors were wrong. He can do all of these things and more. By age two he was sitting up straight and singing; he can play with legos and computer games, he’s learned how to count, he can hold perfectly normal conversations, and he loves painting. He just recently wrote his name for the first time, and he’s trying very hard to learn how to walk (but that’s still a long way off because he’s mostly paralyzed from the waist down). Most of this probably just seems like boring normalcy, but considering he was born with only 2% of his brain he shouldn’t be able to do ANY of this. The fact that he lived beyond his first birthday is a miracle in and of itself. Noah hasn’t had a brain scan since he was three years old, so no one knows if his brain has grown more since then, but all indications are that he’s developing physically at a normal rate, and he’s developing well enough mentally that his parents recently enrolled him in a local elementary school- not any special education classes, a normal, mainstream school. It’s hard work for the parents, there’s tons of medical appointments, regular surgeries with lengthy recovery times, they had to shuttle Noah to a neurophysics center in Australia to help him learn how to sit upright. But they both agree he’s worth it. This is what his mom Shelly has to say:  “I thank him every night before he goes to bed. I say ‘Noah, thank you for such a lovely day. Athena’s hands were tied. Yes, she was a powerful Goddess, but she was very much a woman in a “boys club”, and the true offending party (don’t think for a moment that Athena blamed Medusa for being raped in the temple, Athena knows better) held all the cards. There was nothing that Athena could do to punish the true criminal, and she was expected to punish Medusa by everyone else. What’s a Goddess to do when she cannot punish those who need to be punished and is expected to punish not only the truly innocent party, but her most beloved follower? Use that incredible brain power she had to protect Medusa at all costs, and of course the men would see it as punishment, to be have her beauty stripped from her and sent to live in the shadows. Medusa should have been KILLED for supposedly defiling the temple, whether she truly did or not, but she was given the gift of life, and the ability to protect herself and her daughters (who she bore thanks to Poseidon). This is why Medusa’s image was used to signify woman’s shelters and safe houses. Medusa means “guardian; protectress”, and she was. holy shit.

Athena blessed her with the ability to protect herself and men beheaded her for it.

That’s actually a really intetesting intpretation of it I hadn’t thought of. Most people seem to think Athena turned Medusa into a gorgon as punishment for defiling her temple, but thinking that she did so to protect her from being abused again is interesting and I like it!

Being a nanny I thought I woke him up and he was having a night terror. Sunday he was still acting weird. I realized I had been running my new diffuser and decided to turn it off. Sunday afternoon he was feeling better. Today at work my dog sitter said he wouldn't come out from beneath the bed (very odd behavior for this happy guy). I came home from work early and again he was very confused about who I was so I took him to emergency. Turns out the tea tree oil I was using in the diffuser is toxic for dogs. I didn't even put on his body. Thankfully tests show that his liver is okay but we aren't out of the woods yet. It is a full 72 hours after exposure. He was given fluids under his skin to try to clear out the toxins. The vet and poison control say they are seeing more and more of these cases as the popularity of essential oils is growing. Please be sure the essential oils you are using are not toxic for dogs or cats (you can find a list online... turns out tea tree is one of the worst). the US has no excuse

some great examples of us hospitals setting pretty exorbitant prices for health care:

The infamous $629 bandaid
Woman charged $40 for holding her baby after a c-section
Two South Korean tourists took their baby to the ER where he was only given some formula and took a nap before being discharged but were given a $18,836 bill
Canadian man gets heart surgery in Florida and is billed over 600k USD
Some more pictures of people’s hospital bills

A public hospital’s ER is out-of-network with all private insurances, resulting in many patients being stuck with unreasonable bills and eventually resulting in a class action lawsuit over their billing practices

Annual healthcare spending in the US is estimated at 3.5 trillion, and billing prices are pretty much unfair and inconsistent, even for insured patients with legal loopholes and hospital discretion in setting prices
Billing announcements, and million dollar hospital bills on the rise
Top 35 Most Expensive Health Conditions in the US
Just… facility fees

Hospitals are more likely to tell you how much parking costs than how much a basic ECG test costs (meaning they probably inflate prices arbitrarily for patients… possibly on an individual basis)
Hospitals are magically able to “discount” hospital bills to less than a thousand dollars for patients that receive national attention in media (x, x)

People in the US are less likely to seek medical care because of high prices, even though 42% of doctors believe their patients are receiving too much health care (falsely)

No insurance. At one of the best hospitals in Taiwan. And if I had NHI, it would have been a fraction of that. This could have easily cost me hundreds or even thousands in the US without insurance. But here in Taiwan I was able to receive speedy, quality care comparable to what I would have gotten in a US hospital for relatively small amount of money. Given this experience, I no longer have a reason to fear or hesitate getting care in Taiwan should I ever need it America, it's time to stop making excuses. smallest-feeblest-boggart: thatpettyblackgirl: the US has no excuse I had a similar experience in Hong Kong. I was in bad shape; they fixed me up good and quickly. I was shocked when my entire emergency visit didn’t cost me anything. A few days ago my stomach began to hurt. Thinking it
would pass, I went home to try and rest for the night. A
bit later I vomited. I thought that was the end of it.
But for the rest of the night, I kept vomiting almost every
30-40 minutes. Even after my stomach was completely
empty, I kept vomiting. Soon it was nothing but stomach
fluid and bile. I tried to drink water to stay hydrated, but I
kept throwing it up, no matter how hard I tried to keep it
This could have easily cost me hundreds or even

By 3am I had severe stomach cramps, my body kept
trying to vomit even though there was nothing left. I was
dizzy and light-headed. My symptoms showed no signs
 of abating
At this point I had to seek medical treatment, I knew
had to go to the hospital
I wanted to avoid it. I had no idea how different
Taiwanese hospitals would be, whether I would be able
to find an English speaking doctor, or what it would cost
me (my US health insurance has lapsed and I don't
 qualify for Taiwanese NHI)

My Taiwanese roommate called a taxi and took me to
the ER at NTU Hospital. I was immediately checked-in by
an English speaking nurse. Within 20 minutes I was given
IV fluids and anti-emetics. They took blood tests and did
an ultrasound to ensure it wasn't gall stones or
appendicitis. From there I was given a diagnosis: a
particularly severe case of Acute Viral Gastroenteritis
(aka the stomach flu). After about 3 hours on an IV I
began to feel slightly better, my nausea disappeared and
my stomach began to calm down. I was discharged with
a prescription for anti-emetics and pain medication.
